| The Loan Servicing Unit at State Street Bank serves as custodian, record keeper, and valuation agent for Syndicated Bank Loans held in portfolios of various SSC clients. As a member of this Unit, an entry level Administrator is charged with primarily two main functions: accurately maintaining detailed records for various Syndicated Bank Loans, and serving as the lead contact for both internal and external clients on a selected number of portfolios which hold these bank loan assets. This individual will liaise daily with Agent Banks via faxed notifications, the information on which they will use to update a vendor system where the bank loan records are maintained. He/she will also interact with the Investment Manager on their assigned portfolios, inputting/settling trades, performing ad hoc requests and providing daily reporting per client specific guidelines. Finally, he/she will work closely with his/her mutual fund counterpart. Maintenance of position and income records for syndicated bank loan assets found in mutual fund portfolios. Duties include processing trades, booking cash receipts and disbursements on vendor system, daily reconciliation of cash balances to vendor system, producing daily roll-forward proof of portfolio holdings and accrual information, preparing standard and ad hoc reporting for both internal and external customers, responding to customer queries on a daily basis, daily filing of bank loan notices as received from agent banks via fax, other tasks as needed. Customers include investment managers and mutual fund accounting and custody groups. |
